The name of the firm Smart Living Designs touches on the philosophy of how I approach design and architecture. Smart Living is to live efficiently, environmentally and effectively. By employing a wide array of methods, products and technology, the end goal is to provide an efficient use of space that connects people with the environment around them and to be considerate of resource and energy use.

Art in Design speaks to the creative aspect in that everyone and every project should be expressive and unique. Architecture is the only art in which people can inhabit, and there is an inherent art to living. Smart Living Designs strives to accentuate and strengthen the connection between art and use.
